Cave Diving offers a huge perspective to history and mother nature. Giving you the opportunity to not only gain diving experience, skills and knowledge, but also gives you an insight into what caves are able to offer us from a geological perspective.

Cavern Diving

Fundamentals of proper cave diving techniques along with basic guideline laying is essential for development in the cave diving community. SSI Cavern Diving provides necessary training within natural light zone equipping you before you explore deeper into caves.

Prerequisite

  • Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent
  • At least 24 logged dives

SSI Cavern Diving Course will qualify you to

  • Dive in cavern light zones
  • Up to depths of 40 meters
  • Using Rule of Sixths gas management concept

Course includes

  • 1 Pool Session
  • Minimum of 4 overhead environment training dives
  • Laying of guideline with the use of reel on all dives

Cave Diving

Reinforcing cave diving fundamentals, SSI Cave Diving brings you deeper into caves, through the use of guidelines, safe cave diving protocols and emergency drills. Simple navigation techniques within caves are taught through exposure to multiple caves during the training.

Prerequisite

  • Diver Stress and Rescue or equivalent
  • Cavern Diving or equivalent
  • Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent
  • At least 50 logged dives

SSI Cave Diving Course will qualify you to

  • Dive autonomously in cave environments
  • Pass a maximum of 1 Tee-Junction
  • Using Rule of Fourths gas management concept

Course includes

  • 1 Pool Session
  • Minimum of 6 overhead environment training dives done in at least 2 different cave sites
  • Laying of guideline with the use of reel on all dives

Full Cave Diving

Pinnacle of cave diving training, SSI Full Cave Diving teaches you complex navigation patterns and techniques that are used in various types of overhead or cave systems. Giving you more experience in multiple types of caves systems.

Prerequisite

  • Diver Stress and Rescue or equivalent
  • Cave Diving certification or equivalent
  • Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent
  • At least 75 logged dives, with at least 10 dives inside cave environments

SSI Full Cave Diving Course will qualify you to

  • Dive autonomously in cave environments
  • Up to depths of your highest certification
  • Using Rule of Thirds gas management concept

Course includes

  • 1 Pool Session
  • Minimum of 6 overhead environment training dives done in at least 2 different cave sites
  • Laying of guideline with the use of reel on all dives
