SSI’s Advanced Adventurer program was created so that you can try out a variety of specialties before you commit to completing a full program. It’s a great way to experience what advanced training is all about and how valuable it can be to your diving adventures. This is similar to Advanced Open Water course.
Expand your knowledge and experience in diving beyond that of SSI Open Water Diver and earn the title of an SSI Specialty Diver by completing a total of 12 dives as well as 2 different specialities, which includes, Enriched Air Nitrox, Deep Dive, Diver Stress & Rescue, Navigation and Night & Limited Visibility Dives.
A big factor in dive accidents and rescue scenarios is stress. This specialty will equip you with the knowledge and skills to adequately handle situations should they occur. It will teach you to avoid and prevent problems above and underwater while becoming more confident in your skills as a diver.
If having a longer no-decompression time, being able to get back in the water sooner all while being safer underwater sounds appealing to you, the SSI EAN Nitrox Speciality is for you. Reduce the risk of decompression sickness by learning how to manage the oxygen in your system while diving.
