TDI Understanding Nitrox

TDI Understanding Nitrox is the entry level course for those wishing to do a bit of fine tuning to their scuba breathing gas. By learning the different properties of EAN 22 to EAN 40, you will be able to dive longer at the same time ensuring your own safety.

What is required?

  • Minimum age – 15 years old
  • PADI Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent from another training organization)

What will you be learning?

By learning more about the different aspects of oxygen and using it in different quantities, you will be able to have longer no decompression limits and dive longer. The syllabus for the course includes:

  • Equipment considerations
  • Cylinder labeling
  • Analyzing of Nitrox

The TDI Understanding Nitrox course requires only one theory session and can be customized to suit your schedule. Below is a schedule of how our courses are usually arranged.

How to register?

Before you visit Gill Divers personally to complete the registration (ideally 1 week before the intended trip), please complete the following forms.

  • Personal and Rental Information (Register Online)
  • PADI Liability Form (Print Form)

And also bring along

  • Two (2) passport sized photos (if you are taking a course)
  • Deposit of $150.00 to confirm your placement (Cancellation policy)
