PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor
The PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program is your final step in the quest to become a PADI Instructor. The OWSI program is to prepare yourself in undergoing the Instructor Development Course (IDC) and to eventually take on the Instructor Examination (IE).You'll also learn how to use and adapt the PADI System of diver education to take on individual student needs.
What is required?
- Minimum age - 18 years old
- PADI Assistant Instructor certification (or equivalent from another training organization) with 60 or more logged dives documenting experience in night diving, deep diving and underwater navigation
- Valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR - Primary Care) within past 24 months (or Emergency First Responder)
- Valid Basic First Aid (Secondary Care) within past 24 months (or Emergency First Responder)
