PADI Discover Scuba Diving
This program lets you experience the basics of diving at the convenience of a local swimming pool. During PADI Discover Scuba Diving adventure, you'll master some of the basic concepts and scuba skills which would be helpful should you decide to pursue an experience in the open sea during your PADI Open Water Diver course.
Please note, PADI Discover Scuba Diving is conducted in the pool only. It does not certify you to dive in the sea.
What is required?
- Minimum age – 10 years old
What is in this Course?
- 1 Pool Session (3 hours)
- Full equipment rental
- Instructor/Divemaster fees (ratio - 6 students : 1 instructor)
What will you be learning?
This will be an introductory session into the world of scuba diving! The syllabus includes:
- Equipment familiarization
- Basic underwater skills
- Equipment assembly
- Regulator recovery
- Alternate air source stationary
- Mask removal & replacement
- Fin pivot (neutral buoyancy)
- Hovering
- Underwater Exploration

How to register?
Before you visit Gill Divers personally to complete the registration (ideally 1 week before the intended trip), please complete the following forms.
And also bring along
- Two (2) passport sized photos (if you are taking a course)
- Deposit of $150.00 to confirm your placement (Cancellation policy)
