Mabul Water Bungalows

Mabul Water Bungalows is a new floating dive-resort situated on Mabul Island. Just a short 15 minutes away is the world renown Sipadan Island.

Getting there

After arriving at the Tawau airport, you'll be brought to the small town of Semporna, where you may have to stay a night in the little town depending on your time of arrival into Sabah. The next step would be to get onboard a short speedboat transfer to the island of Mabul.

Accomodation

There are only 12 bungalows available, of which 7 of these are with double beds and the other 5 are with twin beds. These exclusive wooden type bungalows are built over the water and stand on stilts allowing you to enjoy the cool breeze and sheer comfort. Each bungalow equipped with the comforts of a modern home including remote control air-conditioner, ceiling fan, private bathroom with hot and cold shower and toilet, spacious private balcony that offers a panoramic vistas of the turquoise blue sea, colour satellite TV, mini bar and in-room safety box.

Meals

During meal times, guests can choose to dine at the in-house restaurant which serves both Malaysian and Western cuisine. All food and hot beverage are provided, excluding alcoholic drinks, fruit juices and carbonated soft drinks.

Facilities

Facilities includes a large and airy restaurant for dining, a souvenirs shop selling variety of t-shirts, accessories and gifts, a business center with internet service, a dive center and an office taking care all the guests registration and billings.

Diving

The diving in Sipadan Island is limited due to the restriction. Therefore, if you're diving Sipadan from Mabul (only 15 minutes away by boat), then you're out for the whole morning. All divers will return to the resort for their meals after every dive. Dive sites and diving schedule will be arranged at the discretion of the resort management. Dive package sample itinerary
